The Harry Potter news ain’t stopping today. Following this morning’s announcement of the publication of a Cursed Child script book, the UK publisher of the Potter series has confirmed the future publication of the three Hogwarts Library books as illustrated editions.

The first ever illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was published last year to great success, and it is to be followed by the remaining 6 books in the series, which will be released one per year for the next few years. However, illustrated editions of the three Hogwarts textbooks hadn’t been confirmed until now.

The publisher confirmed that it will commission “three new illustrators to create lavish, full-colour illustrated editions” of the books, starting with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in autumn 2017, The Tales of Beedle the Bard in 2018 and Quidditch Through the Ages in 2019. The names of the three illustrators will be announced at a later time.

Additionally, Bloomsbury confirmed that a new edition of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be published on February 9th, 2017. This edition will feature a cover illustration by Jonny Duddle, the illustrator behind the latest UK editions of the original Harry Potter books; as well as a new foreword by J.K. Rowling. It will be interesting to see what the author has to add to this edition, considering that it will be published three months after the theater release of the first Fantastic Beasts film.

Are you counting? Because that’s a ton of Harry Potter books to buy between now and 2017!
