A new batch of high-resolution stills from Daniel Radcliffe’s horror film Horns has been released.

The images depict Daniel Radcliffe, Juno Temple, Heather Graham and Max Minghella in the film directed by Alexandre Aja. The movie premiered last year at the Toronto Film Festival to overall good reviews, but it’s only now that it is getting ready for a U.S. wide release. Horns will hit theaters this Halloween.

Horns is an adaptation of Joe Hill’s novel of the same name. The story follows Ig Parish, a young man who is considered the main suspect in his girlfriend’s mysterious murder. In the aftermath of her death, he wakes up to find a couple of horns growing out of his head. The new accessory, though eerie, proves to be useful; the horns contain a power that makes other people speak with the absolute truth, even against their wishes. The ability will come in handy when trying to discover the truth behind his girlfriend’s death.

Horns is only the latest in a series of attempts by actor Daniel Radcliffe to diversify his filmography after the end of the Harry Potter franchise. He can be seen in the film What If, in theaters right now, and he’s also completed work on Victor Frankenstein, a re-telling of the classic Mary Shelley novel; this time from Igor’s perspective. It will be released on October 2015.

From the promotional material released for Horns so far, the film’s looking visually stunning! Enjoy the beautiful gallery of images below.
