Right off his successful twelve-week West End run on the critically-acclaimed The Cripple of Inishmaan, Daniel Radcliffe headed to Italy to promote his next film Kill Your Darlings at the Venice Film Festival.

The actor attended a handful of events along side first-time director John Krokidas. First off, on Sunday afternoon, the pair posed for the press at a photocall near the Excelsior Hotel.

On Monday, his second day at the festival, Radcliffe attended a fan event at the Venice Lido, where fans could greet the actor and ask him a few questions.

Finally, that evening both actor and director hosted a party to wrap up promotion for Kill Your Darlings at Venice. Pictures of the pair on a boat by the Centurion Palace Hotel can be seen below.

Daniel Radcliffe is expected to next attend the Toronto Film Festival later this month, where he’ll be holding an special screening of Kill Your Darlings as well as the premieres of two of his upcoming projects Horns and The F Word.

Kill Your Darlings is the story of Allen Ginsberg’s youth years and a murder that drew together three of the great poets of the beat generation: Ginsberg, Kerouac and Burroughs. The film premiered to rave reviews back in January during Sundance Film Festival.

Kill Your Darlings will hit American theaters October 18.
